Susie met and exceeded all of our expectations in selling my mother-in-law’s home!! When my wife and I first met with Susie, she presented herself in a very professional but friendly manner. She helped us through the process, was very responsive, punctual, helpful and always with a smile. We live 2 1/2 hours south of San Jose, so it was important that we needed someone who could meet with contractors and inspectors for us. Susie did not let us down, in fact she had some very good recommendations for us. Susie met our schedule in getting the home on the market, priced well, two open houses, several offers and a price above asking!! Susie was instrumental in helping us find our dream vacation home by the beach. Even though our destination was somewhat far away from her usual territory, she took us on numerous house-hunting excursions, and really helped us explore and learn about the local area. All this time was key in helping us land a house that was just right for us (especially since we didn’t know the area as well as Susie did). Once we made the tough decision to make an offer, Susie handled the whole thing for us. Buying a home in California is always complicated by multiple offers and buyers, and Susie was able to play the end-game for us with expertise so that we didn’t overpay, and still won the deal. It was intense! Having an experienced realtor on your side, like Susie is key to saving you money and reducing your stress. And, it can be super stressful! I was impressed how Susie kept us informed throughout the escrow period. She even handled the sewer lateral requirements without us knowing or having to do anything. It all just got taken care of. As such, those 30+ days before we closed were surprisingly stress-free, which is worth its weight in gold. In the end, it was Susie’s negotiation skills that won us the home. There was a bit of a bidding war, and she helped us find our way through it and win the home. Looking back, this was key, as if we had lost the deal, we would have spent many more months searching for the perfect home again. So, I cannot recommend Susie more highly. She was always there for us at a moment’s notice and worked tirelessly to represent our interests with all the confusing paperwork. You would do well to have her on your team as you work to find your next home!

My husband and I were lucky enough to work with Susie when we decided it was time to look for a home. The search was tough and extremely competitive given the current market. As most people do, we had a list of wants and needs for this purchase. Susie kept us grounded and made sure we only saw homes that matched our needs and within our budget which was desperately needed. She was very knowledgeable about the areas we were targeting and gave us honest and constructive feedback when we would stray from our goals. We really wanted a home where our daughter would grow up, attend decent schools and not increase commutes too much which can be super challenging. It took several months and a couple of disappointing losses due to multiple offers but Susie was able to find us our family home! As stated above, this market is extremely competitive and she was able to work her magic with the listing agent of Kaneko Drive and had our offer accepted (there were multiple offers with this home as well)!! Susie, we can't thank you enough for helping us finally cross the finish line and getting us into the home where our daughter will grow and develop friendships, where we'll have many family gatherings and holidays and so much more that money can't buy. Working together with Susie was one of the most enjoyable sides of my ultimately successful, albeit somewhat long, process of finding a house here in the SF Bay Area during a seller's market. I had moved here from New York without any real knowledge of the cities and neighborhoods around the Bay Area. I tend to be rather picky and during a 5 month period, Susie took me all over the Bay Area looking at dozens of homes and helped me zoom in on those cities, neighborhoods and homes that best suited my needs and all too limited budget. Aside from being really fun to work with, Susie's research and general real-estate knowledge is amazing. For literally every home we viewed Susie had prepared summary sheets including neighborhood details and comps. When she didn't have the answer to a question she said so directly, though we never had to wait more than a day for her to find the answer. In general. the market was really difficult for buyers and every home was getting multiple offers, often way over asking price. While Susie had a good sense of just how high I would need to go, at the same time she understood how far I could go and was also trying to get me the best possible deal. In the end I am delighted with the home I found and I don't think I could have got it at a better price.

Susie was absolutely amazing. I'm a first-time home buyer and was pretty lost in a sea of confusion! Susie was everything I could have hoped for in an agent. She was EXTREMELY responsive, even outside of normal hours, or when she was out with her family or even on vacation! She was sooooo on the ball with everything and I never had to worry about things slipping through the cracks, I could really rely on her. She always went the extra mile to make everything go smoothly and get the best possible outcome for me. Her local knowledge was so useful - she really does know the San Jose area incredibly well, so she was able to guide us to understand the impacts of considering different areas (including on schools, as we have a little one.) She also has an amazing sense of the current market and what various houses and areas are worth. (For example: She was dead nuts-on for what our appraisal would come back at - and the appraisal was actually a pretty big surprise to all parties! But Susie just knew the market so well!) She also has an excellent network of contacts, and everyone I worked with who Susie recommended has been fantastic (and knowing Susie trusted them was a huge vote of confidence!) And perhaps most importantly in this process, I never, ever felt like Susie was rushing me, or was pushing me to move forward. If anything, she was the person encouraging me to look at more places, to get a broader idea of what was out there, even though it would take more of HER time, if it took longer to find a house. She really wants what is best for her clients, in the long-run, and shows such integrity. I will absolutely use Susie again, and wholeheartedly recommend her!

From start to finish this gal is a warrior ! She was willing to roll her sleeves up and deal with any "house selling/listing" issues; from weeding the yards and cleaning the bathrooms to managing contractors in my absence. Her professional expectation on the entire deal is extremely high and she rocks in "follow through" on every turn. Many offers over asking were made on the first open house weekend and we closed within 30 days. Again, seamless, easy and a very stress free experience. We started our search with a different agent that ended up being hard to reach and very unresponsive. We were VERY LUCKY to find Susie because we were in a position where we had to move and time was running out. Susie really understood our urgency and she moved us through the process with flying colors. There wasn't a single phone call that went unanswered and she did everything she could to take the stress out of the process. Whether it was driving to us to sign documents late at night to meet deadlines or coordinating inspections in a rush, we really could trust what she said and that she was going to handle things with the same sense of urgency we felt as first time buyers. There was never a moment where we were wondering what was going on. Her communication and guidance is top notch.
